Learning outcomes

This course explores the tools that can be used in preparing for and structuring appraisals, including how to agree, set and monitor clear, measurable objectives.

You will learn how to recognise and address performance problems and offer positive and negative feedback with supporting evidence. By exploring the use of competencies you will be able to plan and support ongoing staff development.

Course requirements

This course can be delivered remotely or in a classroom environment, to suit your requirements.

Delegates must have the following equipment to attend this training remotely:

  • PC or laptop with a microphone and speakers (webcam is preferred but not essential)
  • Access to the internet and web browser application (e.g. Google Chrome)
  • An email account for file sharing
