Lead Adult Care Worker Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship
The Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker Advanced Apprenticeship is for those passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals facing physical, social, emotional or intellectual challenges. You will support people in maintaining independence, dignity, and control while exercising judgement and taking appropriate action. Working closely with others, you will champion wellbeing and foster a professional, supportive environment.
Course Content
Develop an understanding of roles, responsibilities and the importance of values and behaviours
Support individuals with personal care and tailored support plans
Lead and guide colleagues in providing quality care
Understand safeguarding, health and wellbeing practices
Communicate effectively and ensuring individual's dignity and respect
Encourage active participation in decision-making
Promote professional development for both yourself and colleagues
Complete mandatory Care Certificate standards, delivered in the workplace

How much does the course cost?
There is no cost to being an apprentice. All costs associated with your apprenticeship, including the cost of training and your salary, will be paid by your employer. Funding value £4,000.
