Children, Young People and Families Manager Level 5 Higher Apprenticeship

The Level 5 Adult Care Worker Higher Apprenticeship will equip you with the skills to support individuals facing physical, practical, social, emotional, or intellectual challenges in settings such as residential homes, day centres and individuals’ homes. You will learn how to help people live independently with dignity, providing a rewarding opportunity to make a positive difference in people's lives while advancing in the care sector.

  • Understanding children and young people’s development in residential childcare

  • Lead and manage a team within a residential childcare setting

  • Lead practice to support the safeguarding and protection of children and young people in residential childcare

  • Lead practice for communication and information management in residential childcare settings

How much does the course cost?

There is no cost to being an apprentice. All costs associated with your apprenticeship, including the cost of training and your salary, will be paid by your employer. Funding value £6,000.
