Awareness of Bullying Children and Young People Certifcate Level 2

The Certificate in Awareness of Bullying Children and Young People Level 2 will develop your understanding of bullying, including how to recognise it and take action to stop it. You will study bullying and cyberbullying definitions, related legislation, the effects of bullying on young people, and the steps to take when bullying is identified. This course will ensure you understand the principles of bullying and government guidance on tackling it.

  • Cyber bullying

  • Effects of bullying

  • Discrimination

  • Identifying those who are at risk of bullying

Course Content

This course is suitable for students aged 19 and over. It is ideal for anyone who currently works in, or would like to work in this sector.

Assignments and knowledge questions

PC or laptop with a microphone and speakers (webcam is preferred but not essential).
Access to the internet and web browser application (e.g. Google Chrome).
An email account for file sharing.

Certificate

On completion of this programme, you may wish to progress to other College programmes in either this area or another area of study.

Having good English and Maths qualifications are important for most careers and we want to give you the help you need to succeed.

If you are aged 16 - 19 and don't hold a grade C/4 or above in GCSE English and Maths, you will automatically be included in your study programme.
