The training, which will be delivered remotely by Barnsley-based provider ITS, is backed financially by the Growth Hub’s Skills Support for the Workforce (SSW) campaign.

This incentive aims to promote employee development by providing fully-funded training opportunities, which ITS then utilise to create bespoke training packages for employers and individuals.

This programme was originally intended to boost digital skills across the region. It has since been extended to include a range of subjects including Accounting, Care and Childcare, Customer Services and Retail. A range of Level 2 courses are available, including certificates in the Principles of End of Life Care, Mental Health Awareness, Equality and Diversity, IT User Skills, Event Planning and many more.
