This course is designed for project managers, project leaders, project coordinators, programme and operations managers and technical personnel who need to understand how PRINCE2® works.

Objectives

At the end of the course, delegates will be able to apply and tailor the PRINCE2® method to their own projects and be able to explain the PRINCE2® principles. They will be able to apply the PRINCE2® themes to a project and understand the ‘journey’ of a project. They will also be able to create management products, including baselines, records and reports.

Delegates will take the PRINCE2® Foundation exam at the end of day 3 and the PRINCE2® Practitioner exam at the end of day 5.

Course Overview

The aim of this course is to provide delegates with an in-depth knowledge and practical understanding of the PRINCE2® project management method. This training will help prepare delegates for the PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner examinations The course includes:

  • Understanding the need for project management and a project management method
  • Understanding the Principles, Themes and Processes used in PRINCE2® and how they are integrated
  • Understand how to intelligently apply PRINCE2® to projects
  • Preparing for and taking the PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner examination papers
